GCC Wins 1st Prize in the 9th MBSF

Last August 26, 2019, Bryce Calvin Chua took 1st place in the 9th Manila Bulletin Sketchfest (MBSF) under Kiddie Category. The MBSF is an annual on the spot drawing contest organized by Manila Bulletin and was held at the music hall of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. It drew a total of 2,531 contestants in its three-legs and exhibition category. Manila Bulletin supports the Filipino culture by focusing on unique and colorful fiestas in our country. This year’s theme is ―Fiesta’s and Colors in the Philippines.

Other Art Club members participated in the Junior category included Chrysille So (Gr.10-1), Grace Kelly Gochuico (Gr.10-2), Selena Ho (Gr.10-2), Finomena Chang (Gr.10 -4), Ruth Dichoso (Gr.10-6), Sofia So (Gr.111), Maria Katrina Ing (Gr.12-4) and Bianca Tan (Gr.12 - 1).
