GCC BSIT Department Keeps Abreast

In its efforts to ensure that faculty and students of GCC are updated with the latest developments in technology, the school took the opportunity to send representatives to the 16th EdukCircle International Convention on Engineering and Computer Technology on May 18, 2024.

Several relevant topics were discussed such as Energy Management, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Algorithmics for Hard Problems. In addition to presentations of distinguished experts from the Philippines, Australia and Switzerland, the conference also included two panel interaction with Q and A.

Mr. Jonel Uy (faculty) with his students Mr. Bryan Andrew Chua and Mr. Armie Abriel Sy gained environmental perspectives and how computer engineering impacts the human mind. In addition to these, the flexibility of IT as powerful tool in the digital age was discussed.
